Sat, November 3 -- Cool Schools Global Warming Campaign Meeting! Exact Berkeley area meeting location and time to be determined. Join EarthTeam and Bay Area teens on Step It Up, a day of national climate action. Through fun, hands-on activities, we will ask our government to provide real leadership on global warming. One year before the election, let's make sure the world witnesses our national call to action: "Step It Up: It's Time for Climate Leaders!" Snacks provided. RSVP requested. Join EarthTeam and other East Bay teens on a variety of restoration activities including an erosion control project in the seasonal stream and removing invasive species from the meadow to improve habitat for native plants and animals.
