Every year, youth across the country lead projects to conserve, preserve and restore the earth. Earth Island Institute acknowledges these leaders with the Brower Youth Awards.

The Brower Youth Awards, a program of Earth Island Institute, will recognize innovative leadership efforts across an ethnic, geographic, and nonpartisan cross-section of youth from thirteen to twenty-two years old. The prizes will highlight projects ranging from campus organizing to restoration of habitat to neighborhood clean-up of toxics and will be awarded at a gala celebration in Berkeley, California in October.
