Kennedy’s Earth Team spent a day of their spring break touring the Bay Area Air Quality Management District facility in San Francisco.

Students learned about the history of air quality in the Bay, and how much it has improved in the last 80 years. They also learned about ozone and particulate matter, and how they are affected by the seasons, fires, and  fireworks....

This week, Laura from Rails-to- Trails visited Kennedy’s Earth Team. Rails-to-Trails is a nonprofit that turns abandoned railways into trails for walking, biking, and playing.
