EarthTeam’s Annual Energy Saving Poster Contest for Teens

Design a poster highlighting energy saved by switching from standard to CFL light bulbs.

The Goal: Inspire shoppers to buy CFL instead of standard bulbs.

Enter the EarthTeam Energy Poster Contest by submitting digital photos of up to three (3) poster designs for judging, and for possible posting on the EarthTeam website.

Deadline for submission is April 1st 2004

One $200 Grand Prize and three $50 Runner-Up Prizes will be awarded. The EarthTeam Best Poster Contest is open to students from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma Counties.

IMPORTANT: Include "Poster Submittal" in the subject line of your email, and include in the body have your Name, Age, Address, E-mail, Phone, School Name, City and County in which your school is located.

How To Enter

• Submit a Student/Adult Supervisor Validation Form
• You may submit up to three poster designs. Your design may appear on the EarthTeam website!
• Posters may be color or black-and-white; must be in the proportion 8.5" x 11" (Original may be any size but must be reduced to 8.5" x 11" for email submission.)
• Submission Format: Digital photos; must be sent as a 72 dpi jpeg file. Submit TWO copies, one each to: Shermin de Silva, Poster Contests Coordinator AND Dave Jurkiewicz, Webmaster at SherminD@EarthTeam.net and DaveJ@EarthTeam.net
• IMPORTANT: Write "poster submittal" in the subject line of your email; in the body of your email include your Name, Age, Address, E-mail, Phone, School Name, City and County in which your school is located.
• Deadline for all submissions is April 1st, 2004; Prize Winners will be announced April 22/Earth Day 2004.
