EVENT DETAILS
The Leadership & Environmental Action Forum (LEAF) is an amazing two-day, one-night event for Bay Area high school students who want to learn more about how to get involved in the environmental movement, develop skills for effective action on environmental issues, and meet others who are interested in the environment. Weekend workshops range from Survival Skills to Renewable Energy to Hip Hop and the Environment. The weekend will also feature a Ropes Course, Climbing Wall, Night Hike, and more!
LEAF begins on Saturday, October 20 at 9:30am
LEAF ends on Sunday, October 21 at 4:30pm
Note: We expect all participants – students and adult chaperones – to attend the entire weekend. Please contact us before registering if you will need to arrive late or leave early.
Check out our Sample Schedule of Activities to get an idea of what we have in store for you at LEAF 2007!

TRANSPORTATION
Camp Arroyo is beautiful, remote, and unfortunately not easily accessible by public transportation. To help make transportation easier for participants, we will be offering the following assistance:
Bus Service: We will be providing free, limited bus service between Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and Camp Arroyo on the morning of Sat, Oct 20 and Sun, Oct 21 after the conference is over. Space is limited and first-come, first-served. Please indicate on your Registration form if you are interested in this bus service.
Carpooling: On your Student Registration form, please indicate if your parent/guardian can offer a ride (one or both ways) to other students who live in your area and will be attending the Leadership Forum. Besides being good for the environment, carpooling is a great way to meet new people! Stay tuned for a list of fun questions to ask strangers you are carpooling with…
