Bush and Gore: Where Are They At, Environmentally Speaking?

Arthur Bruzzon, Vice Chairman for Bush/Cheney
Ann Nottoff, California Advocacy Director with the Natural Resources Defense Council
October 10, 2000

Arthur Bruzzone will represent the Bush/Cheney campaign positions on environmental issues in the chat room from 7:00pm to 7:30. He is a member of the Bay Conservation and Development Commission, a state regulatory agency, that oversees the goings on in the 100 foot zone all around San Francisco Bay. He has a special focus on the runway issues at both the San Francisco and Oakland airports. Arthur is also the Vice Chairman for Bush/Cheney in the Bay Area.

Ann Nottoff will represent the Gore/Lieberman campaign on environmental issues in the chat room from 7:30-8:00pm. She is California Advocacy Director with the Natural Resources Defense Council in San Francisco. Ann is a founding member and treasurer of the League for Coastal Protection, as well as active in the California League of Conservation Voters. She was appointed by Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt to serve on the Bay Delta Advisory Council, a federally chartered advisory committee working to help develop long term solutions to environmental problems of the San Francisco/Sacramento and San Joaquin Delta.

Her daughter, Mary Holing, will also participate in the chat. She is a 16 year old junior at Miramonte High School in Orinda. She has worked on both of Cong. Ellen Tausher's previous two campaigns. This fall she and her friend started the Democratic Club at Miramonte, where Mary is the news editor of the school newspaper.

Mimi Ji of Clayton Valley High School will be the student interviewer.
