January hasn’t slowed down for the Earth Team interns at Castro Valley High School. We welcomed back our awesome interns in early January, after the schools broke out for 2 weeks at the end of December. Our team has kept busy this month with virtual weekly meetings, individual activities, and a month-long litter clean up. We also added 3 new interns to the Castro Valley Team this year: Santiago, Demi and Kelly. They’re going to be great additions to our team this semester. The next few months will be jam-packed with focusing on our interns professional development, hearing from guest speakers, learning about more environmental topics, as well as gaining momentum on our SITA project. We have no doubt that this will be another collaborative, fun and educational semester for the Castro Valley Team!
