Celebrating Earth Day with Richmond Interns

The Richmond team celebrates Earth Day with a litter clean up and some air quality testing

Last week on Earth Day, April 22nd, the Richmond team got outside to help pick up litter and test air quality. Interns picked up over 400 pieces of litter at Davis Park in San Pablo! Earth Team Staff and Interns followed COVID-19 regulations while meeting in-person. This was the first (but not last) in-person meeting for the Richmond team.

This past month of April has consisted of in-person and online Earth Team meetings. While the team works hard on their SITA project online, they’re also able to get outdoors and participate in person! Below are some highlights from our Earth Day meeting:
