Following weeks of torrential downpour, Earth Team interns from Berkeley High and Richmond High took to the streets of San Pablo on December 7th to see how well the green infrastructure of bioswales along Rumrill Blvd handled the storms.
Working along the five biowales located between Sanford Ave and Emeric Ave, Interns completed On Land Visual Trash assessments at each swale, itemizing all litter observed, scoring the site, and uploading the data through the ArcGIS survey123.
After completing surveys, interns cleared the bioswales and surrounding area of litter.
