Final Clean Up with Richmond for the year, One for the books!

This past weekend, students from Richmond, Pinole Valley, and Berkeley High gathered in John Herbert Davis Park for a clean up to remember. After enjoying some Star-bread, students mingled and met some other students they hadn’t before. Some even saw some new friends from their previous camping trips! Before collecting trash around the park, interns conducted some surveys for our new litter assessment application in partnership with the EPA so that future assessments can see how the environment has changed or stayed the same. After students wrapped up being scientists, they embarked on an awesome clean up along the creek, the playground, the main park, and just had tons of fun. Check out some photos of our great teams making a true difference in their own community.

Thank you to the City of San Pablo and the EPA for your continued support to help make awesome events like these happen on a regular basis.
