Pinole Earth Team interns can’t get enough of Native Plant Gardens this year! This month on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the team partnered up with Park Rangers and community volunteers at the East Bay Regional Park, Point Pinole. In the span of one morning, we removed invasive plants, installed native plants, and sheet mulched an area roughly 1000 square feet. This site, adjacent to the parking lot at the Atlas Road park entrance, is now home to over 20 new plants for pollinators to enjoy.
