Meet the 2022-2023 Interns at Antioch High School

Earth Team is back this year with another exciting program at Antioch High school. The Sustainable Youth Internship program at Antioch have started learning about the climate crisis, watersheds in the bay area and will be performing experiment and water quality tests in the next coming months. More exciting things to come as interns as interns learn more about the natural environment.

Hi! My name is Grace Fung and I am a sophomore at Antioch High School. I love food, reading, and playing video games. From this internship with Earth Team, I hope to become more knowledgeable about ways to better our environment, especially here in Antioch!

Hello, My name is Erika Barron and I am 17 years old and a senior at Antioch High School. I’m very happy to be joining Earth Team again this year and learn more about the environment. Some of my hobbies include listening to music, being creative, and being out in nature!!

My name is Morelia Gil. I am a sophomore at Antioch High School. I enjoy Science and am always striving to be better at it. I joined Earth Team to gain knowledge on environmental injustices and changes, as well as participate in more experiments! I want to help and expand my community.

Hi! Im Kay or Kayla, Im a senior! My hobbies include dancing, listening to music, and cooking and I joined Earth Team to get a better understanding of climate change and to learn how I could help my community!

Hi my name is Luna Velazquez. I am a senior and I have been a part of Earth Team since freshman year. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and learning new things! Through this program, I have grown to love science and nature, and interact with amazing people throughout the way! 🙂

Hello, I’m Aeowynne Magtoto! This is my 2nd year as an Earth Team intern and I’m a sophomore at Antioch High. I love chocolate, minions, TXT, and Twice. Earth Team is a great way to contribute to my community whilst learning along the way.
