This past week, Pinole Valley High School interns joined the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District, hosted by Victoria Woolfolk, in completing the planting and mitigation along Pinole Creek. In continuous efforts to repair the riparian corridor, students planted close to twenty plants along with other community members who attended throughout the day. Check out our awesome interns working together right before they had some great Mochi Donuts!
Thanks to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the CSP Community grants, this year students will be completing a variety of clean ups, restoration events, and participating in fun outdoor recreational activities! And another special thanks to the Friends of Pinole Creek and the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District collaboration efforts as always.
