Pollinators and Nets with Pinole Valley Earth Team

This past week, Pinole Valley Earth Team interns had the pleasure of hearing from Dylan Winkler, a Scientific Aide for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Dylan spoke with the team about the importance of pollinators, different types of pollinators (the kinds that actually sting), and how scientists learn about pollinators. Students then had the ability to try and catch their own specimens in the Library Garden to examine their patterns and see which pollinators frequent their garden. Check out the students having a great time!
