My name is Anais. I am in the tenth grade. Some of my hobbies are gardening and playing the guitar. I really enjoy going out in my backyard to garden! I have a couple of plants so far that are in the process of turning into fruits. I also play track. I’m planning on working extra and trying harder to improve for this year. Not only that, but I really enjoy volunteering for anything in the Health and Med academy, I’m hoping to volunteer for more opportunities outside of the academy.
I could say that I wanted to join earth team because I wanted to make an impact, I wanted to do something that went out of my way to represent what my values are. I wanted to show that I am capable of helping in any form or way! Not only that but I wanted to start off fresh compared to last year, and this was a way to.
A goal I want to complete would be getting more than 100 hours, I want to go above and beyond to provide support and aid to our community. I wish to get along with everyone and have the most fun!
Hello! My name is Angela, I’m a sophomore. I really enjoy trying out new hobbies but I would say my main hobbies and interests are drawing, gardening, and during my free time I would read. I decided to join Earth Team again to overall learn and gain more experience while helping out the environment and spreading awareness. One non-related Earth Team goal is to maintain and do well this school year and one Earth Team goal is to meet other people in other schools.
Hey everyone! I’m Ayden. I’m a senior and this is my third year of Earth Team. Some of my hobbies include: Fighting for women rights, reading feminist literature, saving engandered animals, donating to charities, kareoke, and hanging out with friends. I joined because I do truly love the environment. Without it, I’d have no matcha. My goal is to become an environmental engineer or environmental scientist and I plan on achieving that goal by getting into SDSU and completing this internship!
Hello fellow plant lovers! I’m Bella, a senior, and this is my third year of Earth Team. If you were to dissect my heart, you would find a thick book in there. I love to read, and I love to sing. I joined Earth Team to sharpen my STEM skills and figure out how to weave environmental science into my dream job, civil engineering. I’m looking forward to spreading environmental conscience at our campus!
Hi! I’m Deena, a senior, and this is my first time on the Earth team. I joined because I enjoy helping the environment and my community. Two of my close friends did it last year, and I was able to see how welcoming the community is to others; that’s why I was encouraged to join this year. During my free time, I enjoy going on long walks with my friends, doing random side quests, and crafting small trinkets. I grew up swimming, but then eventually switched to Track as my main sport. One of my goals this year is to stay motivated and not let senioritis take over.
Hi! My name is Ericka and I’m a sophomore at Arroyo High School, and this is my 2nd year of EarthTeam. When I have free time I like to play my guitar and hangout with my friends. But the rest of my time I’m either running my club at Arroyo, which is dedicated to educating the rest of the school community about what they can do to do their part to mitigate climate change, or I’m busy with wrestling or track & field. The reason I joined EarthTeam was because I’m passionate about keeping the earth clean and restoring it, as well as the animals living in it. A goal I have this year is to not mind what others think of me and to be myself.
Hey guys, I am Eva! I’m a senior and this is my third year as an EarthTeam Intern. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places and playing instruments! The reason why this is my third year for EarthTeam is because EarthTeam fostered a connected community for me and I wish to do the same for others. And it’s also very cool learning about nature and the Earth! Goals I have for this year is to talk to a lot of new people, learn more about the secrets to life, and explore more about Earth obviously!
Hi I’m Jacklyn and I’m in 11th grade. I joined the earth team to be able to make a direct impact on the Earth and expand my interest in STEM. In the future I’m hoping to do environmental engineering in a UC. Some hobbies I have are baking, guitar playing, tennis and swimming. I have a ethnic baking club called SAW, Tabacco use prevention club (TUPE) and STEM volunteering club (STEMsters). Some goals I have this year is to learn how to code more javascript, win WACC and win H2GP during my time in Automadons.
Hi, I’m Joslyn! I’m a junior. This is my first year in Earth team. I like swimming. I also like teaching others how to swim and reading in my free time. I joined earthteam because I wanted to gain hands-on experience on what working with the environment is like. Moreover, I also wanted to help keep the environment clean and make the earth a better place for everyone. My goal is to build my leadership skills and my team management skills.
Hey guys, I’m Josue! I’m currently a senior in high school and it’s my first year on Earth Team. Some of my hobbies are playing badminton, weightlifting, and learning all things about science. I wanted to join Earth Team because I wanted more hands-on experience with the environment and wanted to be involved in making the world a healthier place one step at a time. My goal for this year is to get to meet all of the Earth Team members this year and have a good time!
Hi! My name is Kaden. I am a 12th grade student and I am in cross country for this fall. My hobbies are sewing and D.I.Y. in general. I also love playing video games, however I do not do it as often as I used to. Fun fact: I switched to playing solely on a controller (xbox) during 9th grade to play games on my computer because it puts me in the right mindset and feeling. I’m joining Earth Team because I want to go outside to do physical labor and learn more about the species that are influential to my community. One goal of mine is to finish high school strong.
Hi my name is Matthew and I’m super excited to be in Earth Team this year. I’m a senior in high school and I like experimental hiphop, noise rock, and hyperpop. I joined Earth Team because I have a passion for science and I love helping out our communities. My goal this year is to challenge myself and only pursue things that I am interested in!

My name is Nguyen. I’m currently a senior at Arroyo High School. I enjoy reading, crocheting, and watching movies in my spare time. This is my second year as an Earth Team member. I had a great time last year connecting with others and taking action to protect the environment. That’s one of the reasons why I want to join Earth Team again this year. I want to continue on what I did last year and contribute more to the environment. I hope I can connect with more people and have more fun in my last year with Earth Team.

Something to know about me is I am open to doing anything like sky diving to scuba diving, other things are going places I have never been before trying to explore the world, also I like to rollerblading.
Some goals this year is getting over stage fright, talking in groups of people I don’t know is kind of nerve wracking for me but over time I will get to know everyone and feel more comfortable and get over it. Why I wanted to join the earth team was to know more about the world we live in and to have and to have a more memorable high school experience.

I am a senior and this is my second year being a part of Earth Team! I enjoy going on hikes, playing volleyball, running track, traveling, baking and spending time with friends and family! I joined Earth Team in hopes to spread environmental awareness among my community and to learn more about how I can play a part in keeping our earth sustainable and clean! I look forward to meeting new people, and practicing teamwork and leadership with other Earth Teamers! I hope to make the most of my senior year and make lots of memories in the process!

I like hanging out with my friends and cats, hiking and camping, and trying new activities!
