When Pulling Weeds is Your Favorite Past Time

What an amazing time with Pinole Earth Team interns this past week at the upper watershed pollinator garden. With a forecast of cold and windy vibes, but in actuality an amazing sunny day, Pinole Earth Team helped pull invasive species along the creek bank. This is part of a multi year project helping bring back pollinators back to the upper watershed in Pinole Valley helping restore watershed health throughout the entire East Bay. Check out our students having fun in the sun, enjoying nature, and spending their afternoon with awesome people.

Thank you to Paula and Jon Jarvis from the Friends of Pinole Creek Watershed for showing us the way, to EBMUD for their site and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation for their continued support throughout the years, making these types of events possible.
